Philosophy of the Programme

Duration of the Programme
The Professional Diploma in Special Needs Education (PDSNE) is designed to run for three academic semesters

Mode of Study
The PDSNE programme adopts a blended learning approach designed to accommodate working professionals and teachers.
- Lectures and Examinations: Conducted online through digital learning platforms.
- Practicum: Conducted physically in approved educational institutions or special education centres where participants gain hands-on experience working with learners
Admission Requirements
Admission into the Professional Diploma in Special Needs Education (PDSNE) is open to qualified candidates who meet the following requirements:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised university in Education or a related field.
- Holders of Higher National Diploma (HND) from a recognised institution.
- Applicants may be required to submit academic credentials and other relevant documents during the admission process.
